Just got a present from a smart-ass sys-admin. It's a marketing piece from
the combined efforts of hp, peoplesoft and Technology Solutions Company
(TSC) explaining how they are all here to help us along the way. One very
interesting quote from the literature is a follows:

"Parts, upgrades, memory, all you need to keep your system running, will be
unavailable in about 20 months. But support will continue until 2006."

Hmmm, do I read this as hardware support will be unavailable in about 20
months? Is this just an overset by the hp folks when they agreed to jump in
bed with anyone/everyone who's lined up for the screwing (maybe they didn't
even read the literature prior to agreeing to be a participant), or is it a
fact I was not aware of?
