A few years ago where we had a lot of month-end central printing, one of my
chores as a consultant was to help the operations guys develop a report
distribution list (Excel file). We had a specific distribution location of
"Unknown" which the guys were working on eliminating by eliminating the
jobstreams that created the reports inthe first place.
Re: GYOP - there are a couple of problems with this - The "where's my
printout? What did YOU do with it?" and the how long to keep the unclaimed
paper problem.
In general, I like the idea though. Especially with distributed printers so
people cannot finger point.
