Essentially the "+![" at the beginning of each
line can be interpreted as an ESC.
Thanks again...

Subject: PCL Question
Greetings,
I'm hoping that someone can help me resolve a PCL issue. I am attempting to
modify an existing format file. The end-user that I am doing this for is
printing labels. She would like the first line of text to be moved up one
line closer to the top of the page.
Here is what the format file looks like:
1 ;
2 +![Z
3 +![E
4 +![&11X
5 +![&10O
6 +![&10S
7 +![&160F
8 +![&11L
9 +![&12A
10 +![&16D
11 +![&l3E
12 +![&k2G
13 +![&a0L
14 +![(10U
15 +![(s0P
16 +![(s13H
17 +![(s0S
18 +![(s0B
19 +![(s4099T
20 -![E
21 ;
I have attempted to modify line 11 from +![&l3E to +![&l2E thinking that
this would work. Well, it raised the text by one line but continues to
raise it by one line on each of the following pages. This of course is not
going to work.
Does anyone know how to accomplish this "simple" request??
Thanks,
Robb
