Hi HP3000-L,

I am starting to get questions regarding the availability of the invent9k
HPUX public access machine, so let me give you a quick update.

Last week I completed customizing the invent9k machine and I initiated the
request to have it moved to the external subnet outside of the HP firewall.
While I do not yet know the install date, the Networks person didn't object
when I said I needed it done by the end of April.

So please continue to be patient.  I will notify HP3000-L and other channels
as soon as the machine is ready for public access.

PS: Please don't fill out the registration form at
http://jazz.external.hp.com/pads/ selecting the MPE/iX OS but asking for an
invent9k login.  You will only have to reregister once the HPUX machine goes
live so that your data is recorded in the correct database.  Thanks!
