<PLUG> Backpack (formerly Roadrunner) from ROC software has a restore
option called "KEEPNEW" where you can specify that the latest or most
current file is kept, either the existing file on disc or file on tape based
on their modify dates.

Subject: How do you selectively restore only the most recent files on a
system.

I am restoring files from 2 different systems and want to restore only the
most recent source and compiled programs from each. The same file names
appears on both systems, but have been modified at different times. Does
anyone have an idea on how to do this. Is there a tool readily available or
some VESOFT routine.

Thank you,
