Is that what the 6.0 in "MPEX/3000  30N10511  (c) VESOFT Inc, 1980  6.0
03:05158" means? I thought it was the version of MPEX.

I wonder if that was fixed in 7.0 (since that appears to be the version you
are on and we appear to be on 6.0)?

Why should the MPE O/S matter? The only purpose of the parameter is to show
each file in the fileset as read, instead of just the files that match the
search= clause. Post your complete $stdlist for us to see what's happening.

Gang;

The MPEX help facility says that if you don't use ;ALLFILES, the file name
will only print if the file contains the SEARCH string. I have found that
not to be the case.  We're on MPEX/3000  30N10511  (c) VESOFT Inc, 1980  6.0
03:05158
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well it seems to work correctly for me. Incidently, the parameter is
ALLFILENAMES.
