Well actually it might be somewhere near accurate.  In the surplus equipment
market, there aren't that many HP-9000 Series 800 types showing up.  Lots of
Series 700 workstations but the world is not completely flooded with used
HP-9000 hardware that is equivalent to the HP-3000 hardware.
