The day Dave died I was in one of those "one price, one dollar" stores.
They had both paperback and cassette tape copies of Dave's 1995 book "The
HP Way: How Bill Hewlett and I Built Our Company" for $1 each.  Had I
realized at that time how much a piece of lost history it really was, I
would have purchased all of the copies they had.

Too bad it isn't required reading at B-schools.  Maybe someday it will be
rediscovered and republished.  In the meantime, Amazon.com still has some
paperback copies at $11.20 and one individual has a used hardback copy with
an asking price of $50.81!!!  It's at
