Dr. Barbara Medley has been awarded an $117,033 continuation grant for the
third year of a three-year award to fund UTC's Community Outreach
Partnership Center (COPC) project.

The COPC, funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, has
established an outreach center in the Martin Luther King Community.  The
Center provides several programs including Arts Activity(s) for Youth,
Adult Basic Education/GED Basic Skills Development, Recreational Programs
for Youth, Youth Mentoring and a Neighborhood Reading Program.  Many
community partners assist in delivering these programs.

Congratulations to Dr. Medley for securing funding for a program so vital
to UTC's outreach efforts.
