Well, after having been completely informed on the whole sorry state of
affairs, I feel the need to vent my two cents worth.  I am completely and
thoroughly disgusted by the whole thing.  You look at the condition of some
of the buildings on this campus, classrooms professors are teaching in, the
scraping to put two nickels together that some departments have to
do....what in the world was UTC thinking???  Here we are, trying to convince
our legislature that we are underfunded, can't meet our budget, and we need
more money, and they go and pull some ridiculous crap like this?  I am
sickened.  All this over basketball.  All this just to win some games?  You
certainly won't see my face at any basketball games.  Or any other sporting
event for that matter.  What a waste.
