Dear Colleagues,
      The Faculty Council will honor seven individuals for their service as
members of our faculty over the past three decades.  You will soon receive
a "print" invitation to this event to be held on Monday, April 22. Today
Prof. Thomas K. Jones of our Foreign Languages and Literatures Department
confirmed that he will be able to participate in this event and will be
honored by the Council along with the following faculty
members:                                         Richard Bergenback
                                                         Thomas Bibler
                                                         Ross Durham
                                                         Reed Sanderlin
                                                         John Trimpey
                                                         Margaret Trimpey

    Please make plans to participate in this event which will be held in
the Tennessee Room of the University Center:
