Hello,

Anyone you know who is threatening to become a drummer needs to attend this
concert!!!

Bring them to the UTC Percussion Ensemble Concert, scheduled for tonight,
Monday April 15, (Income Tax day) at 8:00 pm in the Hayes Concert Hall in
the UTC Fine Arts Center. The Percussion Ensemble will be playing some of
the newer and more exciting works for percussion. David Gillingham's
"Stained Glass" and Brett Dietz's "Sharpened Stick" are exciting and
difficult works which were performed at the PASIC in Nashville last
November, the percussion convention during which the UTC Percussion
Ensemble was selected to perform a Terrace Concert. Also on that April 15
program will be the Rondo from Mozart's Eine Kline Nachtmusik, and a
Coulter arrangement of Albert King's "You're Gonna Need Me", with a special
"cameo" appearance by Dr. Nick Honerkamp on electric bass...and no
construction site has a groove like this one.

Opening the program will be Ridgeland High School Percussion Ensemble,
directed by James Smith. The program is free.
