This is an easy question.  Ft. Lauderdale for sure.  The 10,000 islands are
a well known fishing area, but not normally considered a desirable scuba
diving area.  Ft. Lauderdale is one of the country's prime diving
destinations.

My pleasure.  Sorry about the loss ofyour friend.  I live in the Ft.
Lauderdale area.  If you follow through with plans in this area, please let
me know when and where the memorial reef and sign, if any, is and I'll get
you some photos as soon as I am able to visit the site.
