Sorry to sound frustrated, but as long as "hp invest" is in wait-and-see
mood instead of giving MPE some perspective (e.g. via the OpenMPE folks),
porting has lost a lot of its fun (for me). For example, I did consider
to give Samba 2.2.x a try on MPE, but nowadays it's too frustrating.

What kind of mailer are you talking about? Oh, and while talking about
email software on MPE... keep in mind that the Mutt client and Qpopper
POP server are also available on MPE as "complements" to sendmail ;-)
