I bought some HWP the day the markets opened after the 9/11 disaster, as an
act of patriotism (suggested by denys b. on 3000-l) at $15.76

I sold it after the 11/14 disaster, as an act of hp3000 patriotism at $20.05.

The profits did little to make me feel better about either event, however.

5-10 years seems a reasonable time period, hp stock was a poor return on
investment for 10 years from 83-93, however.  Check out this chart:
