I think that OpenMPE is doing a great many things for the HP3000 community
on the whole.  Their website has a lot of info.

I too miss the RUG meetings.  In fact I watched as the Chicago RUG imploded.
As a newbee, it was a terrible thing to watch.

It's time to get the passion back.  Users and vendors all should take
notice.  We have to get jacked up and show that this is not something that
you can just say "it's over".  May be if we want to meet, there is a club
for MPE in Yahoo.  Just schedule the time and date.  Members of OpenMPE
could come by and give updates.  Users could get things off their chest.
Vendors and Consultants could bring what they have to the table.

And we have to include users/vendors/consultants that are NOT members of
this list server.  This means getting the word out.  That will take hard
work.  But it can be done and we have to be committed.  John, you up for
this??
