Yesterday, I took the plunge and installed this on our development HP3000.
It is working fine with all of our databases, but there's a persistent error
that I have no idea how to correct.  It is not keeping us from running our
main application, AMISYS, but it's still curious.  We're running Release
9.52.05, but in my opinion, it really should not have anything to do with
this problem.  On to the problem.

HEALTH, OPTION and ACCTNG use Omnidex.  There are 3 omnidex jobs per
database in the DICT group.  Generally speaking, the first job de-installs
the Omnidex indexes, the second job recreates them, and the third job
populates them with keywords.  The first job contains the "problem".  Below
is an excerpt from the $stdlist.  Notice that there's a CIERR 976 after
DBINSTAL quits.  Two more points.  One, even though there's an error,
DBINSTAL completes the requested tasks--TPI is disabled, and the indexes are
purged.  I can proceed with recreating the indexes, loading them with
keywords, and re-enabling TPI without any errors.  Second, when I perform
these tasks in session mode, it does not return any errors.  I wrote DISC
about it, and although they admitted that they attempted to recreate this
problem (they were unable to recreate the problem), the tech support reply
stated that they were unable to devote further resources to this problem
because we did not have a support contract with them, and the problem was
obviously noncritical.
