OK - I started this - let me end it!  I'm not offended by lawyer jokes - I
tell them myself - however, the original post that started this thread was
not really a joke, but more of a generalization.  Most such generalizations
miss the mark, whether the topic is occupation, race, religion or
geographic residence.  Tolerance (a 2-way street, I realize) and respect
should be our goals, be it on this List or in other aspects of our lives.

As my husband (the lawyer) says, "Lighten up!"
