Hi Everyone,
The whole point *is* that the letter has nothing in it that could be used to persuade HP management to action.
As a company, HP must enhance stockholder wealth. On a micro-level, an individual HP manager may be motivated if it makes his/her job easier or increases his performance bonus.
The letter of intent does not increase shareholder's wealth (reference earlier non-product, non-customer message) nor does it solicit any practical (i.e.: dollar$) measurement of critical mass for individual managers to 'make a case' for OpenMPE.
