Hi Jon,
The OpenMPE board is letting their emotions get the better of them. If HP does accept the letters of intent (which I personally doubt), they will be meaningless unless they are accompanied information on how many potential sales dollars the signatories represent.
You might even receive a response if, instead of letters of intend, folks sent signed purchase orders.
Remember, you are dealing with a profit-minded business entity where the currency of realm is in fact, currency!
