Colleagues,

We learned today that the digital cameras and related equipment
belonging to the University Echo were taken over the weekend from the
Echo office in the University Center. The loss of the cameras is a
huge hit for the young people who produce the weekly newspaper.

My understanding is that once again, the person or persons who took
the cameras were able to enter the UTC rooms from which the equipment
was taken through locked doors.

If you have any information about the missing cameras, software, and
related equipment, please contact someone at the Echo or give the
folks at the Campus Police office a call.
