Hi Ionut,
The easiest way I found was to use swat (Samba Web Administration Tool)
which is available with the 2.0.7 version of Samba.
1) Add the following line to inetdcnf.net.sys:
swat stream tcp nowait.400 MGR.SAMBA /usr/local/samba/bin/swat
swat -a
2) Add the following line to services.net.sys:
swat 901/tcp # Samba/iX Web Admin Tool
3) Restart the inetd job.
:abortjob jinetd,manager.sys
:stream jinetd.net.sys
4) Run Internet Explorer with the following address:
http://hp979:901/
where you should replace the 'hp979' above with the contents of your
machines HPSYSNAME variable.

i must install samba and modify the configuration file
/usr/local/samba/lib/smb.conf
but what editor can i use cause edit3000 cannot read the file: "not MPE
file".
if i transfer the file by ftp binary and edit on PC, when i bring it back
is modified and can not be used
any sugestion usefull
