OpenSSL can compute MD5 and all sorts of other message digest checksums:
http://www.openssl.org/docs/apps/dgst.html
OpenSSL can be found in the A.01.00 version of the HP WebWise MPE/iX Secure Web
Server product, or as unsupported freeware on jazz at
http://jazz.external.hp.com/src/hp_freeware/openssl/.
Since an updated version of the WebWise web server will be the FOS web server
in 7.5, you will also have the OpenSSL command line utility in FOS.
