Hello All,

I'm wondering if anyone knows of a similar tool to "md5sum" from Debian
Linux, but for MPE/iX. "md5sum" calculates some sort of check sum for a
binary file in some method that all but gaurentees that 2 files cannot have
the same check sum. I hope to be able to to create an absolute method of
checking what version etc of a program is installed at a customer site.

It is a part of the "dpkg" package on Debian.

Thanks,
Peter Osborne
