If I understand your question correctly (always a problem
for human beings) then you could use STM to write a pattern
of 1s or 0s on the discs. That is of course if you can
install the HP Only diagnostic password.

Using MSTM the tortuous path would be:
Menubar on/off --> Tools --> Expert Tool --> Run --> Menubar on/off -->
Utility --> Write

That brings you to this warning ...

                         Write Function Command
Warning
This command may destroy user data. Since this function can read data
from one area and write it to another area on the media, there is the
possibility that any data structures resident on the disk be destroy.

If you really really want to proceed the Disk Expert then
allows you to specify the pattern to write and where to
write it.

You can also accomplish the same thing using CSTM or the
offline Disk Expert under ODE. In all cases it will be
incredibly slow to overwrite those disks!
