Anyone converting 3GL code from "classic" to Native Mode compilers needs to
be sensitive to the difference between HP floaters and IEEE floaters as
well. FORTRAN CM defaulted to HP format, and NM/77 to IEEE in the absence
of compiler directives, I believe.
