A brute force method would be to create some huge file slightly smaller than
each tape's capacity and then :STORE that file to each tape.  Note that you
would need to populate this file with some kind of garbage data first.

Think further... A better idea... write a simple program to write garbage
data out to a file... and point the program's output to the tape drive...
endless loop until you reach the end of the tape...

Is this a data security related request?  Lots of people forget about the
interesting info on their backup tapes.
