From the size, I assume these are SCSI drives? If so, you can hook up
them up to a PC and do a "Format Disk" followed by a "Verify", "Write
Test", or whatever the SCSI adapter calls the option that does a
destructive write test. If the client needs the government-spec
3-state-changes-for-each-bit overwrite, you'll need something more
elaborate.
