Without knowing any better, I'd try
sh.hpbin.sys '-c "cvs commit -R -m \""my cvs message\"" " '
-Dave

Subject: [HP3000-L] Posix Shell
Hello All,
Quick question about the shell. I'm trying to do something like this from
an
MPE prompt:
sh.hpbin.sys '-c "cvs commit -R -m \"my cvs message\" " '
But it doesn't like me using \" as a third level of quotes, is there a way
of
getting more quote levels? I can't use the ` character as MPE doesn't like
it
and the shell executes anything that use the backtick quotes.
Thanks,
-Pete
