Believe it or not I've been able to take the bad shock to my local auto
parts store and find a match. Most gas shocks are interchangeable, make
sure you check the ends and match the diameter of the holes.

Good shock Hunting!

Subject: [HP3000-L] 2564C printer gas shock

I need a new gas shock for the cover of an old 2564C printer.

Does anyone know of a source for these? They have been off support a while
and I just cannot face the battle with HP to try and buy something from them
again.

Comments are my own.. not my employer's etc..
