If we consider the merger to be worth approx. US$18bn, a US$2.5bn yearly
savings gives a 7-year ROI. That utterly long !!!! Do you want to gamble the
future development of your portfolio on 7-year projects ? Too long ! Most
modern tech companies have ROIs much shorter than 7 years !
