Allen Porter asks how to get Qedit to resolve HPvariables:

 he tried   /t ivrsrce.!jobgroup

and got errors.

Well, Qedit cannot resolve HPVariables ..

but MPE can, so you can prefix the command with a colon to tell
Qedit to send the command to MPE (which will first resolve the variable)
then have a slash to tell Qedit that it really is a Qedit command.

e.g.

  /:/t invsrce.!jobgroup


n.b.  this little workaround was first reported a few years ago by
      Randy Medd at Telamon who thought it was a really cool design.
      Actually it was an accident...
