More information as requested in several different emails:

All our current disc drives are in the system volume set.

The RAID array is intended to completely replace all disc drives. Therefore
we will be booting the system from it.

The decision to go with a 12H rather than a model 20 has already been made
elsewhere in the company. The 12H is already on site and I am the one in
charge of figuring out how to install it. For good or bad the 12H is what we
are going with.

I recognize the 50% rule on performance of the 12H AutoRAID. The current
configuration is six 2GB drives and one 4GB drive for a total of 16GB,
currently at 75% full (Approx 12GB of data). The 12H AutoRAID contains eight
9.1GB drives for a total of 72.8GB. Even with the overhead of a RAID array,
I think it will be a very long time before we grow to more than 50% of the
RAID array.

Thanks for all the help so far.
