More information about the DTC :
When HP says that the 3000 "manages" the DTC, that means the following
(assuming host-based management is configured, no OpenView DTC Manager) :
- At reset time, downwload configuration
- At reset time, download code (yes, the DTC runs code)
Resets can be done by power-cycling the DTC or with TermDSM (or its 7.0
replacement) from the 3000. If you have OpenView DTC Manager, you also have
a command to reset the DTC from the application.
