As far as I know there has never been a block on non-subscriber posts. I
used to post as a non-subscriber back in 1996 and am doing so again now. I
can read the postings a the raven.utc website a few minutes after they are
posted.
I think that there are many non-subscribers that may need to make occasional
posts. It would be a shame to take that ability away from them. I would
"vote" to leave everything alone. (Status Quo is not always bad no matter
what some executives say. ;^) )
When it comes to what to do about spam, Tracy Pierce is correct the delete
button was designed for just this function.
