Thanks, Robert. I get an "HLIO internal error" message after the abortio.
HP says the only way to clear this up is to reboot. At least network
printing *is* working now.

I have a pseudo device (device 900) which is used to control network
printing through third party software. Somehow, a batch job has grabbed
this device as if it's a physical device (see below, please) and is looping.
I can't abort the job. I have a call into the HPRC. Any ideas without
having to bounce the box?
I have tried every spooling command I know. Abortio on device 900 does not
work either.
This is on a 997/400 running 6.5 PP 1.
