My thanks to Doug and Mike.  By making the following changes, it worked like
a champ.

Oh, and I also fixed both the transposition error in the CLUERPT file
equation, and added back in the file equation to tie "*outz" back to the
disc file (removed in the copy I sent to the list).

It's alive!  ALIVE!  Hahahahahaha!
