Many people have a stake in the continuing future of MPE and should be allowed to have a voice in the electing the directors-- whether their company can come to consensus or not. From the HP web site:
HP is a Platinum Sponsor and Carly Fiorina is a keynote speaker at
LinuxWorld in NY, Jan. 30 – Feb. 1, 2002.
Carly won't attend the HPWorld '00 & '01 conferences of the HP computer
users but she can go to an industry conference. Is there a pattern here? I
guess there aren't any "MPE Yellow Shirts" there.
