I also went into DBUTIL and enable autodefer and disabled indexing. My test of 10000 records went in 1 min 30 sec. with XM off(I think) and 2 min. 3 sec. with it on.
However the system is in use and usage is volatile.

This only detaches the Omnidex indexes from XM, not the database.
