Well, since the activities you describe will necessitate a restore of the
entire volume set(s), you can include the DIRECTORY option in your
store/restore to address this concern.  In answer to your question, the
entries in the system directory will remain intact, but any effort to access
those directories will fail until the volume set directories are rebuilt.

Here's a scenario we're following this weekend:

1) Remove disc drives on certain user volume sets.
2) Replace them with larger disc drives.
3) Add more drives.
4) Mirror them.

Are there any forseable problems that you can think of?

One thought, what happens to the groups in the accounts
after the drives are removed, but before new drives are
configured back in?  Do I need to care?  Will the
MPEXL_SYSTEM_VOLUME_SET care about the missing groups?
