You can rip an individual track or entire cd to mp3 with Audiocatalyst
(which doesn't run on win2k), Audiograbber (which does run win2k) or anyone
of a dozen other cd rippers available on the net.

Subject: [HP3000-L] OT : MP3 ?

Hi,

Just curious to know how does MP3 file get created ? What are the steps and
softwares that are needed for this ?

If I have a regular music CD, is there anyway that I can copy the file, run
across some software or product and have this converted to MP3 files ?

Thanks
Raghu
