After breaking into the recreational diving market a few years ago -
principally to promote their recreational rebreathers - Draeger have now
officially announced their decision to withdraw from direct marketing of the
products and have signed an agreement with Aqualung, in which, "Aqualung
International will assume exclusive and complete responsibility for the
global sales and after-sales service of Drager safety's recreational
rebreather diving gear."

Doubtless the market never lived up to the expectations touted for it in
those heady days when everyone and their uncle had a rebreather specifically
designed for recreational use, and that were always coming to market, "in
the early part of *next* year"! :-)
