I didn't build it but Black Box has a "modem splitter" that will do this.
Once in a while, say every couple months, the terminal, a Reflections PC in
our case, will lock up for unknown reasons. A quick disconnect/connect from
within Reflections always fixes the problem. When we ran real consoles,
700/92 terminals, the lockup problem never happened.
