IDG books, who owns the For Dummies series, also owns Cliff Notes
<http://idg.com/www/home.nsf/BooksForm?OpenForm&region=WW>. It appears that
they are bring out "outlines" of some topics, which I find encouraging. I
enjoyed their guide on stocks (as in stock market). They do not offer many
technical books, yet. But for me, the stigma of Cliff Notes is far, far less
than the stigma I associate with the Dummies books. So I wish them success!
