Yes, Omega predated Vision.  Omega predates the HP 3000, while Vision was to
be the 32-bit incarnation of the 3000, but was cancelled ca. 1984 because
Spectrum supplanted it.

Never heard of "Omega".  Did it predate "Vision" (the 32-bit wannabe
that never quite made it).  We looked into almost everything and ended
up with "Spectrum" and did our initial migration on an "Indigo" box.
How's that for ancient history?
