One of my Red Hat distros has a sound bite of Linus Torvalds saying how he
pronounces "Linux". To the best of my recollection, he pronounced it as "Lee
Nooks", but I don't have that particular release installed any more, I can't
go back and check.  As others have noted, the correct pronunciation is
subject to debate.
