I put up a new version of QCTerm last night, Version 0.95a. This version
represents only a very few minor revisions of a few features. They are:

o This version allows a more robust and easy to use debugging mechanism
for script assemblies.

o This version has also been made less dependent on the presence of the
HP3000's DC1 prompting character and thus more compatible with UNIX machines.
Due to the events of November 14th (remember when the phrase was, "due to the
events of September 11th"), this now seems prudent. In that regard, QCTerm's
manual was also much updated to provide a more coherent explanation of how
the handshaking with the function keys work and how you should program the
keys to work with a non-HP3000 platform.

o This newest version also now allows you to specifiy a port address as
well as an IP address when using scripts. The mechanism is explained in the
on-line manual.

You may obtain a new version of QCTerm, if you wish, from:

     http://aics-research.com/qcterm

Unzip the downloaded file to the c:\ root, as it is primed to do.
Unfortunately, it won't work from anywhere else.
