well, i thought we had this solved <sigh>  while using slashes does help,
it doesn't solve the problem completly....

:run remsh.net.sys;info="uxb -l ctmsrv ctmjobs -cf jbtest/pabcx60u -n /'uxa
axa/'"

arglist is -cf "jbtest/pabcx60u" -n "/uxa axa/"

see how the parameter for -n include the slashes now?  they are being
passed/accepted as a whole but that's not what's needed.  the program (on
the 'other' side :-) really wants to see "uxa axa".  anymore thoughts?

(i don't want to ask this...but...) is there a shell solution <ugh> -- that
will work in  batch??             - d
