I don't know what M$ has, but PostgreSQL has a graphical client included for
designing databases & querys and a bunch of other stuff that I don't use.

The client works over the network as well so you don't hafta work on your
linux server. (of course I don't believe the client runs on M$ so you would
need to be running Linux on your desktop)
