CSY has indicated they will participate in serious discussions regarding
MPE being taken over by another entity that wants to continue with the
product past 11-1-03 AND port to IA64 as part of the plan. The HP people
involved in the discussions are those that can decide, say YES and do
the deal.

Plans are to continue MPE on the 9000 line and to complete the port to
IA64, and have a seemless transition even to the point that after
11-1-03 you'll continue to call HP Support for hardware AND software
with the software support calls directed to the new organization.
